I regularly read erotic sex stories and can only recommend this read. Because when I listen to taboo sex stories, I feel noticeably revived. Honestly, I usually get horny doing it, too, and that’s by design. Those who write erotic stories want to entertain, inspire and animate their readers. But are erotic stories really better than porn?
Have you ever tried to tell your erotic experiences in sex stories? I am a 40 year old woman and I have already tried it. However, I have to admit that it was not that easy. It was difficult for me to describe the most intimate processes in the appropriate words. All the more I admire authors who write and publish thrilling erotic stories.
Are fuck stories really better than porn?
My answer is clearly YES. My main argument: erotic sex stories contain far more fantasy. Your imagination is stimulated – and your thoughts and desires give you a feeling of floating. You create your own images to go with the text, while in porn you are presented with images. You can color the described scenes yourself or continue to spin the story for yourself.
I find that better than porn, in which the action often begins quite abruptly and ends just as abruptly. What happens in between repeats itself again and again. Only the protagonists change.
Are taboo sex stories misogynistic?
You can answer this question in many different ways. Those who are bothered by the fact that women in sex videos often act like hookers and are always available may prefer erotic stories. But it can also be about women who are horny and desperate to have sex. But you probably perceive such a story differently than blatant images.
It is true that the main characters in hot stories are often self-determined and strong women. They take what they want and stand by it. Some make it very sophisticated to achieve their erotic goals. Reading how they behave as seductresses or conquerors is something I find downright titillating. I like that better than in porn, where half-naked girls offer themselves and are mostly presented as totally cock-fixated.
Do erotic stories have more depth than porn videos?
Well, not necessarily. But they describe more and give you more atmosphere. You can better understand the feelings of the protagonists and feel their excitement. In my opinion, this works better in hot stories than in porn. There the plot, on which the sexual action is based, is often quite clumsy. You know: somewhere a hot woman is lolling around and already she has a cock in her hand.
Many hot sex stories also know no taboos. It’s often fast and uncompromising. You don’t have to worry that particularly horny practices will be left out. Sometimes they are paraphrased in such a way that it is not immediately clear what is going on. But most of the time you will quickly understand what we are talking about. Then you can let your imagination run wild, conjuring up electrifying images before your inner eye.
Taboo sex stories readable everywhere
In my opinion, this is also better than porn: you can read erotic sex stories everywhere on the go. It’s not as noticeable as if you were on a porn channel. Who knows what you will experience afterwards because of your shining eyes. This could easily lead to new erotic stories that entertain and electrify open-minded readers.
By the way, I read my favorite stories several times. Depending on the mood and time of day, they impress me in different ways. It has already happened that I put myself in the main character(s) in a completely different way during repeated reading. I especially like it when the intimacies between two or more people are not portrayed with hackneyed expressions.
Just try it out: read an erotic story on the bus or train, in the waiting room, during your lunch break or in the evening before falling asleep. Bet it has a different effect on you every time?
Something else is better than in porn
In some porn you will reach the limits of your taste or aesthetic sensibility. This does not happen so easily in erotic stories. Old people and those with physical flaws or handicaps can also act there. There is nothing offensive about this, if it is described in an appropriately sensitive manner.
This theme brings me to fetishism. Some porn films emphasize this – with latex and masks, for example. But sometimes I am amused by the representation when it comes to BDSM. I prefer to read how a dominatrix chastises her slaves. In addition, I may learn something about their drive and motivation. Or what dominance feels like. That turns me on much more.
Better than in porn I also find the description of bondage & Co. That can be described so subtly and literally captivating that I literally get goosebumps. In porn videos, on the other hand, I am often confronted with rather joyless goings-on and never-ending nagging and knotting on this topic.
My final plea for erotic narratives
Even as a teenager, I devoured erotic bestsellers – from the legendary Josefine Mutzenbacher to Fanny Hill and Emmanuelle. Everything I could get my hands on in the way of “forbidden” reading since then, I’ve been pulling in. You know what, in the process I learned to celebrate my solo sex entirely at my whim. I don’t even need sex toys for that.

Enjoying frivolous reading together with a man is fun for me to this day. I find it animating to get my lover’s reaction. When I watch porn together with a man, I sometimes feel a little embarrassed. For me, there is simply too little room for the imagination. You are simply told how things work or how they should work. Of course, I also get horny during porn, but I don’t feel nearly as electrified as I do during sex stories.
Anyone and everyone can watch the porn that he or she likes. I only recommend that you delve into a tingling erotic story every now and then and get to know its stimulating effect. Of course, it’s up to you to decide what you think is better. One more thing: involve your sweetheart in the reading or read to each other: I promise you that the reading will certainly not leave you cold.
